Character in Leadership Award

The Ben Elo Memorial Character in Leadership Award is given to a Mooresville High School soccer player who 'acts justly, loves mercy and walks humbly both on and off the pitch.

A $250 donation will be made to a non-profit of the winner's choosing from the BEMF

Specific criteria include:

• Demonstrates Leadership through character and by example
• Shows a sheer determination to win and improve themselves as well as their teammates
• Demonstrates teamwork through selflessness and encouragement of others
• Shows kindness and respect towards others on and off the pitch
