The Foundation Goals

Award a $5,ooo scholarship beginning in 2012. This will require $1oo,ooo in the fund to guarantee the scholarship in to perpetuity.
Award a Ben Elo Character in Leadership Award to a boy and girl each year from the MHS soccer teams.The criteria are those things which best represented Ben's character as a player and person. Award includes a $250 donation to a non-profit the winner chooses.
Establish and support Grief Ministry and Outreach in partnership with our church, First United Methodist in Mooresville. Includes a Grief Library open to the public located at 900 Indianapolis Rd in Mooresville room 108.
Raised over $9,ooo through the 1st Annual Ben Elo Memorial Soccer Camp
Proceeds from the camp purchased 2 permanent AED’s for the soccer complex and football/track complex at Mooresville High School. Purchase also included a complete review of their current AED’s as well as a needs assessment for the future.
